''How sitting affects our health''
At this time and age it's almost impossible not to have a job where you spend your time sitting at the desk, but desk exercises would definitely make your life easier. In the nearest future we might do everything from our couches, just like in Pixar's ''Wall-e'': ordering food, playing games and going into VR, socializing while sitting in our special chair... Even if you work as a sales clerk or a waitress, you would still come home and relax in front of a TV for more than couple of hours, without even thinking about doing any exercise at all. Most of the government jobs and office ones require you sitting down. On average a person spends nine and a half hours sitting and that's as much as sleeping! Either way, sitting throughout the day is very unhealthy and it is literally killing us.
Every day we wake up and drive to work, sitting in a car on comfy seats and may be stuck in traffic for about an hour. Then we go to our job and check emails, answer the phone, etc. Even when we have lunch, we are sitting down and order to food, so we can go back to work. The weight gain quickly adds up, because we have a very limited amount of exercise. Heart diseases may even develop if you don't start doing any physical activity anytime soon! However, as long as you eat healthy and add some walking and few desk exercises, you'll be good to go!
The little known fact about sitting is that we're doing it wrong. Everyone slouches with their backs and necks that it's no wonder we all have pains in those areas and even develop scoliosis. All you have to do is sit with your legs next to each other, with your back pressed against the chair and your hips aligned at a 90-degree angle. There are tons of desk exercises that you can do, and make sure to spend some time on them. Also, an important reminder is to make sure to not get too close to the computer screen with your head. The monitor's brightness can cause your eyes to hurt and you might end up wearing glasses sooner than expected. In addition, keep track of how much of a distance you keep from the laptop. It will be hard to get used to, but as long as you keep an open mind about your health, you will be golden!
The main things to keep track of are: stretching before you go to work, while at work and afterwards. It might be hard to keep track of, but your body and health will thank you by not feeling sore or having pains for as long as you do it.

In conclusion, it's very important to keep doing desk exercises, because not only you won't gain weight, but your body will be forever grateful for doing them in the first place. The more you do them, the better!
