''How sitting affects our health'' At this time and age it's almost impossible not to have a job where you spend your time sitting at the desk, but desk exercises would definitely make your life easier. In the nearest future we might do everything from our couches, just like in Pixar's ''Wall-e'': ordering food, playing games and going into VR, socializing while sitting in our special chair... Even if you work as a sales clerk or a waitress, you would still come home and relax in front of a TV for more than couple of hours, without even thinking about doing any exercise at all. Most of the government jobs and office ones require you sitting down. On average a person spends nine and a half hours sitting and that's as much as sleeping! Either way, sitting throughout the day is very unhealthy and it is literally killing us.   Every day we wake up and drive to work, sitting in a car on comfy seats
‘’How to travel wisely to a foreign country’’   Traveling abroad can be a lot of hassle and will always bring few unexpected things. However, if you would be prepared ahead with safety in mind, you’re going to be golden and good to go wherever and whenever you want. Tip #1: Know for how long you’re going to be gone abroad, whether it’s two weeks or a whole year. Take care of important things like paying bills ahead and cleaning the house a day before you leave. Also, talk to friends and family members, so they could keep an eye on your house or apartment while you’re gone and pick up your mail. Since there has been a lot of package thieves, who would steal your packages and run away, it’s a good idea to tell your friends when you expect your shoes or accessories for your dog to come in. Also when the mailbox is full, it will mean that nobody is home and will give heads up to burglars to come in and rob the hous
''How art therapy helped me cope with stress'' I have always been scared to come close to paints and avoid the embarrassment due to lack of skills.   However, years later after I had a near-death experience, I started thinking about what I always wanted to do and art was the first thing I've thought of. Since I worked in the customer service, stress is inevitable. After work I would always come home, frustrated and picking fights with my boyfriend, but as I started watching how-to videos and experimenting with all kinds of styles, stress was instantly out of my life.
‘’How to stay strong in the MeToo movement’’                                                     When I first came to the South with my fiance Anton, little did I know that I would be surrounded by racists, sexists and rednecks. Growing up in a country where you met just sexists made me stronger as a female and I’ve learned to stand up for myself. Every day whether I was in a store or at work I tried to prove to males that I could do the same things as them. Some laughed, some took me seriously, but most of them didn’t care. Since the movement started and after working countless jobs and making connections in a town I lived in, I’ve learned how to keep my cool when no one wanted to listen to me. Whenever guys and even some females were laughing when I said I could do any other men’s work, like carrying heavy items or painting entire house, I did my best to keep a straight face. I talked about feminism as if I was telling the cro
‘’New-age idiocracy’' It hasn’t been that long since I’ve seen the 2006 movie ‘’Idiocracy’’with an amazing cast and brilliant plot. The more I looked at the society, the more I began to fear for the Earth’s future. Not only are the people being dumbed down by today’s education, but they are being brainwashed by news, entertainment, music industry and even with books. Every day we hear the news about wars, gang fights, sexual harassment in schools, government issues… Back in 2013 there was a case of a six-year-old, named Hunter Yelton from Colorado, who kissed his classmate on the hand, which got him suspended from school. That’s right, you’ve read that correctly. A first-grader was accused of sexual harassment for just expressing his feelings toward a girl that he liked. Both parties, including a girl considered themselves as ‘’boyfriend and girlfriend’’, so technically there wasn’t any unwanted kissing or touc
